What You'll Need
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen broccoli florets in cheese sauce, cooked according to package directions
- 3 cups cooked, cubed chicken or turkey breast
- 1/4 cup diced pimentos, drained
What to Do
- In a small dry skillet over medium heat, cook almonds until they brown.
- In a large saucepan, add broccoli and cheese sauce. Stir in chicken and pimentos. Simmer, stirring constantly, until chicken and broccoli mixture is heated through. Add water, if necessary, to thin sauce. Before serving, sprinkle with toasted nuts.
