Roma Tomato Bisque

Here's a lighter version of your favorite creamy tomato bisque. You'll never know the difference, 'cause our Roma Tomato Bisque is still so tasty!
What You'll Need
- 2 (28-ounce) cans no-salt-added crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (12-ounce) can low-fat evaporated milk
What to Do
- In a soup pot, combine tomatoes, sugar, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and slowly stir in evaporated milk. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes, or until heated through; do not allow to boil.
Garnishing Tip
A leaf or sprig of fresh basil on a dollop of fat-free sour cream looks great topping each serving!
