What You'll Need
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 (8-ounce) cans no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
What to Do
- Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray. Over medium heat, cook garlic about 1 minute. (Be careful not to burn!) Add tomato sauce, sugar, basil, oregano, and onion powder.
- Heat mixture until it boils, then reduce heat to low and simmer 5 to 6 minutes, or until mixture is heated through.
