What You'll Need
- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (24-ounce) jar low-sodium marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
What to Do
- Coat a large skillet with cooking spray. Over medium heat, combine turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper, and cook 4 to 6 minutes, or until no longer pink; drain off excess liquid.
- Return turkey to skillet and add marinara sauce, water, and basil; mix well. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
