Love this recipe. I have substituted the bananas with different fruits, like strawberries, crushed pineapple with coconut and all are great. XXXXX

why can't I get the nutritional info to come up. thanks

Hi there! Just click the "show more" button on the Nutrutional Information bar. That should do it!

Can't wait to try this! Thanks so much for the sugar free version. My husband will be thrilled.

and I will use the sugar free whipped topping

I haven't made it yet but I will definitely will be making it soon so thanks for sharing this recipe with us !!!

Thanks for the recipe, this turned out really well! I lowered the carb count a bit, I used a sugar free graham cracker crust that I found at Kroger. Also, I made fresh whipped cream , sweetened with a little EZ Sweet and just spooned it on individual servings. I cut the pie into 10 servings, instead of 8, so that also lowed the carb count! Thanks so much, pies are one thing I really missed, being a diabetic on a lower carb lifestyle. Now I can still have them!

Thank you for your comment! We're so glad that you were able to adjust it to suit your needs, and that you enjoyed the pie! :)

I just made this and the mild and pudding would not thicken whisking it with wire whisk, therefore the whipped topping would not spread over the top either. It was a complete flop and a waist of time and ingredients.

We're sorry you had some trouble with this recipe. The Test Kitchen suggests whisking the pudding, then refrigerating for 10-15 minutes to allow it to thicken a bit, and then adding in half of the whipped topping. Let us know if this helps!

It tells you on the box that it will thicken as it sits and cools.

Make sure pudding box said it was "instant pudding", not the kind you cook first?

I can't have dairy and soy milk or almond milk does not set up with instant pudding. do you have any suggestions?

Our Test Kitchen director suggests Lactaid, a lactose-free milk. While we have not tested this substitution, maybe it will work for you. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Hi, we don't have your frozen fat-free whipped topping, can you suggest something similar please, like would Carnation skinny tinny whipped be suitable? Thanks in advance. Sandi in Australia

Sandi, I've never heard of Skinny Tinny and can't find much about it online. Is it low-calorie whipped topping? If so, it would probably work.

Good thinking! Please let us know how it turns out.

It's a great idea. However, that 18g of sugar is way too high. Perhaps, you could make it crustless and eliminate the graham cracker crust. I plan to make it and will try to make it crustless.
