Red Wine Vinaigrette

Our Red Wine Vinaigrette whisks together in no time to lightly dress up a salad that's sure to command attention. And the red wine gives it such super, rich taste.

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 of a small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

What to Do

  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk well. Cover and chill overnight to allow the flavors to "marry" before serving (see Note).

Makes about 1-1/3 cups dressing.
 

 

Note

This dressing can also be used immediately...just make sure the sugar has dissolved completely.
