Our Test Kitchen puts flavor-packed Dijon-style mustard to great use in this simple Bistro Dijon Sauce. This one will make any of your recipes taste elegant, and of course, it's diabetes-friendly.
What You'll Need
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups fat-free milk
- 2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
What to Do
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour and mix well.
- Add milk, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute, or until mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in mustard. Serve immediately.
