Whole Wheat Cranberry Rolls

Kick up the holiday taste in your bread basket with our Whole Wheat Cranberry Rolls. Made with fresh cranberries and garnished with a zesty, citrusy mix, these cranberry rolls are sure to be a hit!
What You'll Need
- 1/3 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar substitute
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 3 tablespoons margarine, melted, divided
- 1 (17.3-ounce) package refrigerated reduced-fat whole wheat biscuits
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine cranberries, sugar substitute, ginger, orange zest, and 1 tablespoon margarine; set aside.
- Cut biscuits in half and form into circle shape with fingers. Place 1 teaspoon cranberry mixture in center of each biscuit; bring edges together and pinch tightly to close. Place seam side down on baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine parsley with remaining margarine. Brush tops of biscuits with mixture.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

On that last comment I left, I was thinking 2 steps ahead of myself. The SF Maple Syrup was for the Sweet Potato casserole, so ignore that part. Again, these are a fantastic addition to any holiday dinner. )

The filling in this is awesome! I used the Sugar-Free Maple Syrup instead of the extract, so I used 1 TBSP. Also, because I couldn't find refrigerated whole wheat rolls, I cheated and used Pillsbury original Crescent Rolls (2 of the 4oz cans) to make 8 rolls with a heaping teaspoon of filling. Turned out great, and very tasty. One of my favorite parts of tonight's dinner!! Thanks!
