Sesame-Crusted Tuna

Tuna steaks are so popular at restaurants; so why not save money and make your own Sesame Crusted Tuna at home? Our easy tuna steak recipe is light and healthy yet full of flavor.
What You'll Need
- 4 tuna steaks (4 ounces each)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
What to Do
- Rub both sides of the tuna steaks with the sesame oil and garlic, then season with the salt and black pepper.
- Place the sesame seeds in a shallow dish and press the tuna into the seeds to coat completely.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated fish and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
Notes
If sodium is not a concern for you, drizzle this with light soy sauce just before serving.
