Citrus Splash Halibut

An easy way to add flavor to all your dishes, but especially fish, is by adding citrus to the other seasonings - either grated lemon, lime, or orange zest (the outermost skin) or fresh juice. Try it with our Citrus Splash Halibut and we think you'll fall in love.
What You'll Need
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 (4-ounce) halibut steaks or fillets
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning*
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
What to Do
- Coat a large skillet with cooking spray.*
- Preheat the skillet over medium heat; sauté the onion and garlic until tender.
- Add the halibut to the skillet; season with salt and lemon-pepper then drizzle with orange juice and lemon juice, and sprinkle with parsley.
- Cover, and cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
*To make this a gluten-free recipe, use seasoning with no added starch from a gluten-containing source, and nonstick cooking spray with no flour added.
