Looking for an easy breezy steak recipe that will have friends and family wanting more? This Simple Churrasco Steak only calls for six ingredients, most of which you probably already have on hand! So what are you waiting for?!
What You'll Need
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 two-pound beef flank steak, about 1 inch thick
What to Do
- In a large resealable plastic storage bag, combine all the ingredients except the steak; mix well. Score the steak on both sides by making shallow diagonal cuts 1-1/2 inches apart. Place the steak in the storage bag, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, turning the bag over occasionally.
- Heat a large grill pan over high heat until hot. Remove the steak from the marinade and place in the pan; discard the marinade. Cook the steak for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness beyond that.
- Thinly slice the steak across the grain and serve.

I want to learn to cook beef for my husband. Can I cook this marinated steak in a skillet? I don't have a grill pan.

You can absolutely cook this in a skillet. You just wouldn't get any grill marks on the meat. But it will still have the same delicious taste!
