You've got no reason to feel bad after eating our Guilt-Free Picadillo. Made with lean ground beef, you could even enjoy it the next day, too!
What You'll Need
- 1 pound 95-96% lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (14-1/2-ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained, broken up
- 1/4 cup chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 teaspoons chili powder*
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder*
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon*
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What to Do
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat, until browned and no pink remains in the meat.
- Add the remaining ingredients; mix well. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, until the mixture is heated through. Serve immediately.
Notes
-
To make this a gluten-free recipe, use raisins that have not been dusted with wheat flour to prevent sticking, and seasonings with no added starch from a gluten-containing source.
- To keep the carbs low, simply serve this scooped onto a leaf of Bibb or romaine lettuce.

You can absolutely leave out the raisins if you would prefer the dish without them!
