We packed all the goodness and taste of one of your favorite soups into these bite-sized cups. Our French Onion Soup Bites are perfect for entertaining - they look and taste restaurant fancy. Plus, they're really easy to make! We know you and your guests are going to love these.
What You'll Need
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced (about 2-1/2 cups)
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons reduced-fat, shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add onions and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until onions are soft. Add broth, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper; stir and cook another 5 minutes or until broth has evaporated.
- Place a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Spoon 1 tablespoon of onion mixture into each wonton. Top evenly with mozzarella cheese and bake 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese and serve.
