Sometimes you need something crunchy! When that time comes, take matters into your own hands and bake up our Crunchy Sesame Breadsticks. They're as good as any restaurant breadsticks, if not better, and diabetes-friendly, to boot!
What You'll Need
- 1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Cut the thawed dough into sixteen 1/2-inch-thick slices. Lightly flour a cutting board and, with your hands, roll out each piece of dough to about 10 inches long.
- Place the dough sticks on the baking sheet. Brush each with the beaten egg.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the dough sticks. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden.
