Personal-size pita pizzas are perfect for one or for a whole crowd. My Own Veggie Pita Pizza can be anything you want it to be. Use all the veggies, or just your favorites. Make it your own and enjoy!
What You'll Need
- 2 (6-inch) pita breads, not split
- 3/4 cup assorted fresh vegetables (mushrooms, bell pepper, carrots, broccoli)
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then coat with cooking spray. Bake pita 3 to 4 minutes; set aside.
- Coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add vegetables and cook over medium heat until just tender, stirring occasionally.
- Spread pizza sauce on pita bread. Sprinkle with vegetables and cheese and bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut in half and serve immediately.
