Dish up a spoon of one of our favorite greens and you'll be more than pleased. Our Creamy Spinach Casserole is the perfect side dish for any occasion, 'cause it tastes like something you labored hours over, but is actually really easy to make! That's because we start out with frozen spinach; it's a sure way to make sure this dish is flavorful and fast.
What You'll Need
- 1 (15-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
- 1 cup cooked wild rice
- 1 1/2 cup reduced fat shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (10-1/2-ounce) can fat-free cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon light margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 1-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Spoon into casserole dish.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes, or until heated through.
