What You'll Need
- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon turkey bacon bits
What to Do
- Place Brussels sprouts in a large saucepan and add enough water to cover; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and cook 5 to 7 minutes, or until fork-tender; drain.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, heat oil until hot. Add onion, sauteing 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Add sprouts, garlic powder, salt and pepper; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with bacon and serve.
