Swiss chard is one of the most nutritious vegetables around, and one you should be eating on a regular basis! Toss in some garlic and you've got yourself some healthy and tasty Steamin' Greens!
What You'll Need
- 8 cup Swiss chard or kale
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup low-sodium chicken broth*
- 4 clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What to Do
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the Swiss chard or kale; sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the greens are tender.
Notes
*To make this a gluten-free recipe, use gluten-free chicken broth.
