- 1 tablespoon canola or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed (about 20)
- 1 hard-boiled egg white, chopped
What to Do
- In a small bowl, whisk together oil, lemon juice, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook 3 to 5 minutes, or until just tender. Remove from skillet and let cool to room temperature.
- Arrange asparagus spears on serving platter and drizzle with oil mixture. Garnish with chopped egg.
