Chocolate cream pies are a classic dessert that most people love, especially around the holidays! Well, we made a version that's diabetic-friendly, so you can enjoy it anytime you want! Our Creamy Chocolate Pie is made with lighter ingredients, but your taste buds will never know the difference!
What You'll Need
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/4 cup sugar substitute
- 1/3 cup low-fat (1%) milk
- 4 ounce fat-free cream cheese, softened
- 1 (12-ounce) container frozen sugar-free whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (9-inch) reduced-fat graham cracker pie crust
What to Do
- In a large bowl, whisk cocoa powder and oil. Add sugar substitute and milk; mix with a spoon until smooth. Add cream cheese and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. With a spoon, fold in whipped topping until well blended.
- Pour into pie crust, cover loosely, and freeze at least 4 hours or until firm.
