Layers of angel food cake, strawberries, vanilla pudding, and whipped topping making this a decadent dessert that will satisfy the biggest sweet tooth. It's perfect to wow at a picnic or potluck, and it's super easy to make.
What You'll Need
- 1 (14-ounce) angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 (0.3-ounce) packages sugar-free strawberry gelatin
- 2 cup boiling water
- 1 (16-ounce) package frozen unsweetened whole strawberries, thawed
- 2 cup fat-free milk
- 1 (1-ounce) package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (8-ounce) container frozen sugar-free whipped topping, thawed
- Fresh strawberries, for garnish
What to Do
- In a trifle bowl or large glass serving bowl, arrange half the cake cubes in a single layer.
- In a medium bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries. Pour half the mixture over cake cubes.
- In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon half the pudding over gelatin. Layer with half of whipped topping.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, ending with whipped topping. Garnish with strawberries and refrigerate at least an hour or until ready to serve.
