Imagine the world's juiciest pieces of chicken sauteed and fresh, crunchy veggies wrapped up in a warm tortilla. Our Sizzlin' Chicken is like a pocket of fresh Tex-Mex flavors waiting to explode in your mouth!

What You'll Need

  • 2 tablespoon canola oil, divided
  • 2 large onions, each cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 large bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), cut into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 6 (8-inch) tortillas

What to Do

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and bell peppers and saute for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the onions are lightly browned; remove to a bowl and set aside.
     
  2. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil in the skillet and add the chicken, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Saute for 5 to 6 minutes, or until no pink remains in the chicken.
     
  3. Return the vegetables to the skillet and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Pour the lime juice over the chicken and vegetables; mix well.  Divide the chicken mixture equally among the tortillas and serve.
