Sesame-Crusted Chicken

Once you bite into our crispy Sesame-Crusted Chicken, we're sure the flavors will have you hooked! It's the perfect combination of seasonings, topped with yummy sesame seeds! It's an easy way to change up your dinner routine, and you're going to want it again and again!
What You'll Need
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 (4-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness
- 2 tablespoon canola oil
What to Do
- In a shallow dish, whisk egg and water until well combined. In another shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, sesame seeds, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Dip chicken into egg mixture, then the bread crumb mixture, coating evenly with each.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, heat oil until hot. Sauté chicken 4 to 5 minutes per side or until no pink remains.
