What You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 (3-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, and garlic.

  3. In a shallow baking dish, arrange chicken in a single layer. Pour lemon juice mixture over chicken.

  4. Cover and bake about 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender and juices run clear, basting occasionally.
