Almond Butterscotch Brownies

Who says chocolate should have all the fun?! We've put a twist on your typical brownie by adding vanilla and almonds. It's a great change from ordinary brownies, and they are just as decadent and moist! These Almond Butterscotch Brownies can't be beat -- no chocolate necessary!
What You'll Need
- 2 stick (1 cup) margarine, softened
- 3 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
- 1 cup liquid egg substitute or 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups almonds, chopped
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar together until creamy. Add eggs substitutes and vanilla; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix until combined. Spread the mixture into the baking dish.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool and cut into squares.
