This Singapore Stir-Fry recipe was developed for my original Diabetes recipes, but it's so tasty, everyone will enjoy it!
What You'll Need
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 pound beef flank steak, 1 inch thick, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
- 3 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen stir-fry vegetable mix, thawed and drained
What to Do
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the steak strips and brown for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the sweet-and-sour sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, hot pepper sauce, and black pepper. Add to the steak along with the vegetables.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring until completely mixed and heated through.
