Meat Bagel Buns

If you're maintaining a low-carb diet, then you've probably used lettuce wraps to replace the bread in your sandwiches before. Well, here's a new idea: Meat Bagel Buns! You'll love this tasty new way to eat your sandwich and keep to your low-carb diet.
What You'll Need
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup liquid egg substitute
- 1/3 cup no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Divide meat into 3 portions. Using your hands, roll 1 portion into a ball and then indent in the middle. Flatten slightly to form a bagel shape. Place the beef bagel on baking sheet and repeat with remaining beef.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink. Allow meat bagels to cool slightly, then slice in half.
