Dijon-and-Pepper-Crusted Steak

Weather not cooperating, or don't have an outdoor grill? No problem! This tender, juicy Dijon-and-Pepper-Crusted Steak can also be grilled indoors on a grill pan or cooked right under your broiler.

What You'll Need

  • 4 (4-ounce) filet mignon steaks, well trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoon crushed peppercorns*

What to Do

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  2. Heavily coat the top of the filets with half the Dijon mustard then sprinkle with half the crushed peppercorns.

  3. Place filets coated-side down on the grill. Coat the other side with the remaining mustard and sprinkle with the remaining peppercorns.

  4. Grill for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
